Project Life: Week 4

Project Life: Week 4
January 22 - 28, 2011

January 22, 2011: On Friday Eliza came home with a note from school telling us that one of her class mates had LICE!! Yikes! Since I spent my entire Saturday washing everything we own that could possibly contain lice, I thought it was only fitting that my washing machine be the picture of the day.

January 23, 2011: We went out to lunch with our sweet friends, Pam and Diedre. Pam has worked with Steve for many years but she recently took a job in Colorado, so we wanted to take them out for a good bye lunch.

January 24, 2011: This picture is just for Aunt Mare and Uncle John. I wanted to show them that it is not just all about UT in our house; Eliza is being taught about Tech traditions too.

January 25, 2011: We had a rough start to our morning. This is partly because Eliza is NOT a morning person and partly because she refused to go to sleep the night before. Everytime I tried to get her up and moving, she would just lay back down and pull the covers over her head. I think she thought that if I couldn't see her then she didn't have to get up.

January 26, 2011: This is my "Just Keeping it Real" photo. We had an even rougher start to our morning and even less sleep than the night before.

January 27, 2011: The difference a good night sleep makes!

January 28, 2011: In order to celebrate their letter of the week "P", Eliza's school hosted a pajama day for the kids. She got to wear her pajama's and slippers to school. She was so excited about wearing her jammies to school that she could hardly contain herself. I think the world might be a happier place if we were all allowed to wear our pajamas and slippers to work!

  1. I totally agree about the jammies. I have always said that I would be a much more efficient worker in a pair of jammy jams.

Love the comparison pictures of one day to the next.

  2. So glad that in this mixed marriage of UT and TT that the better school is being represented. Now I know for sure Eliza will turn out extremely well.

  3. She's always looked like you, but in those last couple of pictures it's a spitting image. I LOVE her in that purple dress!
