Funny Faces

Eliza loves to play the faces game . . . you know make a happy face, sad face, etc. She has recently added a new face to her repratoir. . . the silly face. It is by far her favorite face.

Did I Really Just Say That?

One of my favorite gifts from my baby shower was a little scrap book that contained words of wisdom from my friends and co-workers who were in the trenches of mommyhood. More than one person said . . . expect the unexpected . . . perfect advice for all mommies because I truly never expected that I would ever say anything like . . . .

"Eliza, if you want some water Mommy will get you some, but you can't drink out of Bob's (the dog) water bowl."

"I know you love your crocks but we do not wear our shoes to bed."

"If you put little Addi (her doll) in the fridge she will get too cold"

"Dora and Diego are sleeping, so we can't watch them on T. V. right now."

"Do you really need to wear your sunglasses in the bath tub?"
