Our sweet neighbors have 4 kids and the youngest is Eliza's age. Recently these two have begun to develop a truly sweet friendship and they love having play dates. I am so glad that Eliza has a buddy to play with and I am excited to watch their friendship grow as they do.

Best Buds
When we first started our house hunt (in the spring of 2009) it was vitally important to both Stephen and I that our house be in a kid/family friendly neighborhood. Not only did we find a neighborhood that we loved but we hit the jackpot with our next door neighbors.

A Peek Into Our World . . . . The Ordinary Happenings of our Extraordinary Family
That's so cool. Eliza does look very content with life in this picture!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some good friends in the neighborhood. A family moved in about 5 houses away a couple months ago, but they let all of their kids (including their 3 year old) play unsupervised in the street. Not only do I not want Spencer hanging out with them, I've considered calling CPS. I've seen those kids almost get run over too many times.
